Molluscum Contagiosum so many children catch this virus it is spread by touching the molluscum spots, bath, pool, bath toys and towels. Im certain Ella caught hers from a public pool because my nephew had them also and we went swimming in the same public pools. Ella had these warts all over her body I changed these pictures to black and white because the colour and photos are very distressing.
Here’s our story – 18 months recapping in a few short paragraphs im sharing our story with Molluscum to hopefully help some families going through the same thing we did product after product appointment after appointment being told by every Dr “it will clear up” “there is no medication or cure for this” everyone is different some children can have this virus and fight it within months other children can take years.
One of my friend’s daughters also had Molluscum she mentioned a product called Skincerity a product she purchased from a Facebook page and cleared up her daughters’ skin within weeks. I Joined the Facebook page “Molluscum and Wart Solutions” over 15,000 members all sharing their stores and recommendations for this virus. I purchased the product “ Skincerity “ I was very hesitant purchasing a product from USA signing up to Nucerity to purchase this oil including shipping its was approx. $110 per bottle. Within a few days our delivery arrived. I ended up buying 2 bottles in the end as Ella had a lot of warts.
Ella was wart free within 8 weeks!
We stopped having baths and only had showers, I use separate colored towels between the girls so we don’t spread germs and wash them regularly, no flannels while washing as they can spread the virus and I threw away all the toys in the shower. We also stopped swimming lessons. Because Ella suffers from eczema her skin is already broken so it took longer for her body to fight this virus and clear up. Trust me there were many tears and frustration over the 18 months like with any products you try you have to give it a go and be consistent to see if it is helping or improving. We started off using the microblade tape which is very common my sister used this on her sons skin and it cleared up his skin within weeks for Ella some sections looked like it was clearing up others not so much after applying the tape for a few weeks her eczema got a lot worse and she had a reaction to the tape. We then tried a range or creams one cream in particular Aldara was a script cream I had to visit the Dr weekly and get a new script as we assessed her skin her eczema was settling down but she started to get redness and pus after 4 weeks of using Aldara this then turned into a staph infection as her skin got a reaction from the cream yep we spent over $350 in 4 weeks which turned into a staph infection which is so painful for adults and children. We stopped sending Ella to pre-school during this time and stopped using this cream and she was on antibiotics for 2 weeks to clear it up. Once her skin was under control, we starting having bleach baths which is very common and does help kids with eczema.
Over the 18 months I had used the following products - Aldara , bleach baths twice week, Epiduo Forte , microblade tape , DermAid , advantan , Diprosone . . We also changed our wash from QV to Dermeze - Wash and lotion.
How do you use Skincerity? After shower - on clean dry skin dab tea tree oil on the wart then roll the skincerity over the wart .. repeat the same technique on all the spots. The product then dries up peal it off as you’re doing that is takes the head off the warts and stops it from spreading. The product dries within seconds like you have been sunburnt and your skin is peeling keep this on till the next day, peel off and reapply. Keep repeating eventually the core will be ready to pop and pull out kind of like a pimple. Ella’s has some small scars that was expected so now it’s just making sure I’m using a lot of cream and bio oil and help repair her skin. Yes, molluscum can return but Im confident now I’ve been introduced to Skincerity I can clear them up a lot quicker. I found popping the warts in the shower was the best as some bleed and i can wash the blood away quickly so Ella didn't freak out, once the wart is popped you no longer need to apply the product to that wart again let the skin heal.
What other options did I have? The dermatologist suggested we burn them off, which is painful and extremely uncomfortable especially for children and also not guaranteed they won’t come back in the same spot and will also scar, because she had so many the Dr was only going to do small sections at a time so this would have been a very long process. I also read on the Facebook page many parents said burning them off didn’t help their children and more grew back... its been over 6 months now wart free Skincerity has helped her skin clear up and her eczema is under control her skin has never looked this good. i went back to my Dr he was so amazed and has also purchased this product as his son also suffers with Molluscum.
